The Barracuda Aquatic Club is a year-round competitive youth swimming program. The team will allow children to advance their level of swimming beyond what is taught in lessons. We currently have swimmers participating in the program ages 6 - 18.
Here some frequently asked questions to help you on your way to becoming a Barracuda.
Where will my child practice?
Cache Valley swimmers will practice at the Sports Academy in Logan. The address is 1655 North 200 East.
Tremonton swimmers will practice at the Bear River Natatorium. The address is 455 East Main Street in Tremonton.
What kind of skill does my swimmer need in order to join?
Every swimmer should be able to swim the length of the pool in freestyle and backstroke. It will ultimately be up to the coach. For more information regarding this contact the following coaches:

Are there any fees with exception of my monthly fee that I should be aware of?
Yes, there are two more fees that you should be aware of. We belong to an association called USA Swimming. Every swimmer needs to pay an annual fee of $75.00 in order to belong to the Barracuda Aquatic Club. Every member will receive a team t shirt, team cap, and will be able to participate in swim meets. All paperwork should be filled out on the website under the "Register for USA" tab.
The other fee that parents should be aware of are swim meet fees. Area teams often host swim meets where they will have to pay for various items such as, pool rent, awards, etc. They in turn charge swimmers to participate. The fee varies with different meets. Parents will pay for the meets via the barracuda website. Just click on "Register For A Meet", fill in the form, submit, pay, and wait for confirmation. You should received confirmation within 24 hours. There are directions for signing up for a meet at the top of the "Register For A Meet" page.

Swimming at every level should be an enjoyable and productive learning experience. Our goal is to inspire and enable every swimmer in the Barracuda program to achieve success in the sport of swimming. We are committed to providing a safe and fun swimming environment.
What group will my child be swimming with?Swimmers are placed in workout groups based on their abilities. Each swimmer is evaluated by the coaches on a daily basis and the coaches decide when it is time for the swimmer to advance to the next level of the team.
